To Our Valued Clients,

It has come to our attention that Symantec Corp. has announced a security risk with their product PC Anywhere which is installed on the POS registers in your stores. This product is used for remote access purposes.

We are currently researching this important matter. Symantec has not yet released any updates on this matter or provided any necessary fixes. We will continue to keep you posted as information becomes available.

All KWI clients are urged to immediately examine their network configurations for compliance to the KWI whitepaper specifications and address any gaps as soon as possible. Specifically, the section titled "Standardized Store/Internet Configuration Goals" which recommends that your store firewall be configured to only allow inbound traffic from known and trusted sources.
